The Entities of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, including ICIEC, ICD, and ITFC, in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank Group Business Forum (THIQAH), have announced the 13th edition of the Private Sector Forum (PSF 2025), taking place from May 20 to 22, 2025, in Algiers, Algeria. The event is organized under the high patronage of His Excellency Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of Algeria.
Under the theme “Diversifying Economies, Enriching Lives,” PSF 2025 aims to reinforce the pivotal role of the private sector in fostering sustainable economic growth, enhancing trade and investment flows, and unlocking opportunities for strategic partnerships across IsDB member countries. The forum will offer a platform for stakeholders to explore new business opportunities, exchange knowledge, and build regional and international economic cooperation.
The event will promote investment and trade by focusing on key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, technology, healthcare, and finance. It will also enhance public-private partnerships and empower startups and SMEs through networking and funding opportunities. PSF 2025 will facilitate B2B and B2G meetings and share best practices from industry leaders to inspire growth and transformation.
More than 1,500 participants are expected, including government officials, CEOs, multilateral institutions, chambers of commerce, business associations, and individual investors. The forum will include a dedicated exhibition and startup competition to highlight innovative business ideas.
The IsDB Group recognition awards will return, honoring distinguished contributions to economic development and trade facilitation. Speakers will include CEOs of IsDB Group entities and other international experts who will share experiences to strengthen investment and trade across member countries.
