Web Summit will return to Lisbon, Portugal, from 9 to 12 November 2026, bringing technology entrepreneurs, investors, companies and media into a programme of presentations, exhibitions and meetings.
The organiser’s 2026 website lists startup and investor programmes, content tracks, speakers and opportunities for exhibitors. Its published speaker roster includes businesses working in artificial intelligence, robotics and software.
For founders, the event’s relevance goes beyond visibility. An investor discussion becomes more useful when a company can explain the customer problem it addresses, the evidence of demand and how additional capital would support growth.
The technology agenda also raises questions for organisations adopting new tools. Reliability, data protection and compatibility with existing systems deserve attention alongside demonstrations of new capabilities.
Businesses from emerging markets can follow Lisbon for insight into potential partners and the expectations of international customers. The strongest lessons will come from evidence of adoption, sustainable economics and practical ways to serve users.
InAfrika’s event coverage will assess announcements on their stated scope and supporting evidence. Participation in a conference and the launch of a product should be distinguished from demonstrated commercial performance.
Web Summit is scheduled for 9–12 November in Lisbon. The organiser’s website provides the current programme, startup information and media accreditation details.
