Tanzania’s mining and investment conference is scheduled for 19–21 November at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam. The Ministry of Minerals and the Tanzania Chamber of Mines are organising the three-day event around mineral processing and investment in industries that use processed minerals.
The Tanzania Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative lists the dates and venue. Tanzania’s embassy in Doha says discussions will cover beneficiation, the processing of mined material to separate or concentrate valuable minerals, and investment further along the production chain.
The provisional programme, reported by TanzaniaInvest, includes sessions on gold, graphite, rare earths and battery metals. It also sets aside time for presentations by selected mining projects and discussions on how to finance them. Sessions on bringing artisanal and small-scale miners into the formal sector are listed for the final day.
It is the seventh edition of the conference. The ministry previously moved the meeting from its original November 2025 slot to November 2026. Registration details are available on the conference website.
