The Fourth AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF2025) was held in St. George’s, Grenada, under the theme “Resilience and Transformation.” The forum brought together over 2,000 delegates from Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond, including 11 heads of state. The conference reaffirmed Africa and the Caribbean’s historical ties and the need to build joint resilience in a shifting global landscape.

Participants endorsed the creation of an Africa–Caribbean Free Trade Arrangement and committed to establishing direct air and maritime links. Over $300 million in trade deals were announced in sectors including tourism, logistics, and agribusiness. The Global Africa Commission was endorsed by several governments, and plans for a joint youth athletics championship were unveiled.

Calls were made for joint advocacy on climate justice, visa-free travel, and bridging the digital skills gap. The creative economy was recognized as a growth engine, with Afreximbank praised for its support. Dr. George Elombi was congratulated as the new Afreximbank President.

The forum closed with strong support for ACTIF2026, aiming to deepen economic, cultural, and strategic ties across the Atlantic.
