The International Mining and Resources Conference and Expo is scheduled for 27–29 October 2026 at ICC Sydney, bringing together mining companies, investors, technology providers and government representatives for discussions on the future of the resources sector.

The organiser’s programme includes Mines and Money at IMARC, country programmes and pavilions, an innovation and investment area, and professional development activities. These place financing, operational capability and international partnerships within the same event.

For mineral-producing economies, the gathering offers a useful window into how projects compete for capital and how technology suppliers approach productivity. A compelling resource estimate is one part of an investment proposition; infrastructure, operating costs and the ability to deliver a project also deserve scrutiny.

Businesses considering participation can use the official programme to identify sessions and counterparties relevant to their stage of development. Exploration companies, producing mines and equipment suppliers have different needs, so preparation should begin with a specific commercial or technical question.

The event also creates an opportunity to follow how critical minerals discussions connect with established commodities and community interests. InAfrika’s coverage will distinguish announced proposals from completed transactions and assess what developments could mean for investment and industrial activity.

IMARC runs from 27 to 29 October at ICC Sydney, Australia. The official website provides programme, registration and access information.
