The ninth China International Import Expo is scheduled for 5–10 November 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, offering overseas businesses a platform to present goods and explore buyer relationships.

The organiser has announced professional visitor registration and an online matchmaking platform for the 2026 edition. Businesses can use these official channels to examine participation requirements and prepare relevant meetings.

For exporters, an international showcase is most useful when it supports a credible route to market. Product specifications, consistent supply and the ability to meet buyer and regulatory requirements matter alongside presentation.

Agricultural producers and manufacturers considering China can treat the expo as a source of market intelligence as well as potential contacts. Questions about packaging, distribution, payment and delivery should be addressed before assuming that interest will become an order.

The distinction between an expression of interest and a completed commercial transaction is particularly important in trade reporting. Announced agreements should be assessed for their scope, implementation requirements and the parties responsible for delivery.

The six-day expo will take place in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November. The official CIIE website provides visitor registration and matchmaking information. Suppliers should verify product-specific entry and compliance requirements through the relevant authorities.
